Yes, All printed products come with the matching High Resolution digital. Some packages include all digital files. I do not recommend just purchasing the digitals. If you ask me I can explain why. While I do offer digital packs so you have some variety to share online and put on Christmas cards the end goal is to have beautiful fine art on your walls to last generations to come.
I love my Nikon D750. My favourite lenses are my 50mm 1.4 lens, 50mm is the closest to capturing what the human eye sees and that 1.4 produces beautiful blurry backgrounds.
I also have a 24-70mm 2.8 lens I love as I can capture beautiful scenery in your family images but also gorgeous close ups of details.
That is unlimited! If you want an extended family session we can definitely do that for you.
I don't time my sessions but on average they take 1-2 hours. Newborn sessions can take up to 3 hours but 2 hours is average.
No one wants to have photos taken when they have a red nose or sick coughing kids. So if someone falls sick in the week leading up to your session please get in touch as soon as possible so we can reschedule. If I fall sick the same applies as I don't want to make anyones children or babies sick either.
Photos in light rain can be gorgeous especially for couples sessions but its not always nice when you have young children. But if the family is up for it then grab the brollies, raincoats and boots and have a splash in some muddy puddles, clothing of course will change to account for messiness.
We can reschedule but keep in mind there may not be a spot open for several weeks or months.
Of course, a new family member is special for everyone so unless otherwise requested I always get family photos at these sessions.
I always get the family portraits of smiling and looking at the camera out of the way first. As a storytelling photographer most of my work is natural moments between family members rather than stiff poses for the camera. The days of saying 'cheese' are over!!! If those are the kind of photos you are wanting only though it may be best to find another photographer maybe in a studio.
In a session with me we swing kids, play tag, chase balls, dance and have lots of fun.Whatever it takes to keep children happy is what I do.
I am an animal lover and firmly believe pets are a part of the family. I have many locations that are dog friendly and as a horse handler in my past I am also up for equine sessions as well. These are usually done at your own home though or in a place you are happy to park a float. I have a blue tongue lizard and if it wasn't for the fact he likes to stay really warm I would include him in our family sessions as pets are family.
A $150 Experience fee is paid on booking and covers:
- Full-length photoshoot
- Image processing time
-Client wardrobe
=Pre session consultation
- 1 hour viewing and ordering appointment
- A matted 5x7 inch fine art print or one digital
Product and digital file orders are purchased separate to the experience fee.
This fee is to cover my time and work if you decide not to purchase images after all.
Yes I am up to date on my vaccinations, this is due to me having my own children but also wanting to stay safe around other little ones.
All photos are viewed together at a viewing and ordering appointment. This is done within a week of your session. In person is preferred but if that does not work with your family a zoom call can be done. It is recommended on zoom to do this on a desktop or laptop and even plug into your tv for better viewing.
At this appointment you will see a slideshow of your images and then be able to pick your favourites along with any wall art or products you would like.
A lot of families like to choose in advance their packages and wall art and pay it off before their session. I also offer post session plans and Interest free payment plans with Payright.
We take the session experience fee straight away when you book.
We have a card reader on hand to take card payments in person as well.
Full payment from your ordering session can be taken straight away by card, paypal or transfer.
You can also pay half at your ordering appointment and the rest when your order has arrived.
Interest free payments through Payright are also available for a time period of your choice, up to $3000. Approval only takes minutes and can be done at your viewing and ordering appointment.
Yes you can. With gift vouchers there is no obligation to purchase anything further, however if you love your images so much then you are welcome to purchase more.
